TeamEDA was founded by Guy Haas in 2003. The company has seen steady growth in it's first 3 years and in the last year has expanded dramatically. TeamEDA is committed to high ethical standards and Customer satisfaction. The "team" in TeamEDA means just that- we work hard as a team to solve customer problems.
The company has 3 divisions: VAR, Consulting, and Software Products.
VAR Division The company is a reseller for Rackable Systems, Open It, Platform Computing, Runtime Design Automation, Tidal Software, and Univa.
Consulting Division The company offers consulting services around cluster and grid computing, regression and verification process automation, Engineering License management, and software development.
Software Products Division TeamEDA developed License Asset Manager (LAM) in 2006, which is used to manage expensive EDA and MDA software licenses, renewals, and all related information. The company offers the following options for LAM: -Usage Metrics Option
Company Personnel
President: Guy Haas Mr. Haas has 30 years experience in high-technology business and management, principally in Business Engineering (EDA and MDA), and Grid computing software.
Mr. Haas has a BS from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Case Western Reserve. He is also an ex-Marine, having served in the Vietnam conflict. Mr Haas teaches Business Management at a local college. He is a musician and Baritone singer in a Barbershop quartet as well as being a commercial pilot, scuba diver and avid golfer.
Rachel Thomas is a Software Installation Support Engineer at TeamEDA. She has been working here since 2009 and is able to help customers install the software, become trained, and supporting any questions that may arise.
Martin Grondin is a Software Support Installation Engineer at TeamEDA since 2008. He helps customers install their software, provides troubleshooting services, and helps answer any questions that may arise.
Sales/Marketing: Les Payne
Les has 15 years National Sales and Distribution Experience. Coming to TeamEDA from Seaco-USA where he was National Sales Manager for several European Equipment Manufacturers; Les handles product marketing, distribution agreements, show packaging and more..
Consultant: Anupam Bakshi
Anupam is an Engineering Consultant and Software Developer at TeamEDA. He draws upon more than 15 years experience in the Electronic Design Automation industry. Anupam has worked for Avid Technology, Blackstone Technology Group, Gateway Design Autmation, Cadence Design Systems and PictureTel. Anupam has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electronics from Delhi University, MS in Computer Engineering, and a High Tech MBA from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.
Consultant: Scott Nogueira
Scott holds a B.S. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer. Scott has over 20 years experience integrating EDA applications and configuring high availability Unix IT infrastructure for successful ASIC, FPGA, Board and System design. Scott specializes in building robust infrastructure in support of software and hardware design processes and methodology. He is an expert at adding Grid Computing applications to large and small company environments.
